Anti-aliasing looks particularly nice on fonts that are designed for subpixel smoothing, like Consolas. I think that with Courier New (my typical MUD font), I'd prefer no AA

With AA just looks more attractive. Without has slightly more readability but I can boost brightness to increase visibility.

Maybe my eyes are bad, but without anti-aliasing makes the colors look alot more vivid to be honest. Anyone else see that too?

Just wanted to take a moment and say that the work you have done on Mudlet is incredible. It is good to see such active development on a MUD client. Also has been interesting to learn Lua. Thanks so much!

Its in the download section, but here is a fuller one I think:

 * new features & fixes & documentation update: notably: keep chains open, triggers firing for a set amount of following lines
 * faster enableTrigger(), disableTrigger()
 * disconnect(), reconnect(), getMudletHomeDir() functions
 * Fix: crash on xterm 256 color and more
 * Fix: chain heads with keepFiring > 0 will only run the script on the first run
 * Fix: Lua function killTimer() could cause a crash
 * Fix: button scripts within menus were executed multiple times
 * editor tab stop width reduced

Alright, I've got a small list of errors here..excuse me while I whine. First, the editing screen for triggers etc extends off screen, blanking out some items and making it unclosable. Secondly, it duplicates my triggers/aliases randomly, so I have like 20+ of the same trigger..which makes things get a little weird. Also, when I create a buggy alias/trigger/whatever, I have to delete and start over if I click away from it, I can't re-select it.

I'm not sure whether this is an error on my part or a bug in the package, but when I tried to install from the repository Mudlet's output window became messy... Incoming text was recieved fine, but anything that was initiated by a command I sent wasn't started on a new line and seemed to have a buffer before it would appear on screen. To explain this more thoroughly, if I typed in a command that resulted in a one-line output, I wouldn't see the result until I either entered another command or recieved some other string from the mud.

I tried uninstalling then compiling the source, and this is not an issue... I run Ubuntu 8.1, and at the time of the download I should have more than covered all the dependencies.

Very nice. One thing that always annoyed me about zMUD is how slow it was displaying. And the splitscreen is nice, it's the one thing MUSHclient lacks display-wise. What about speed comparison with MUSHClient?
