Mudlet 4.22 is out – a mapper-focused release.
Manage your map areas visually
You can now create, rename and delete map areas right from the mapper with the new Configure Areas dialog – no scripting needed. A long-requested feature, finally here.
Lock stub exits without scripting
The Set Exits dialog’s “No route” checkbox now works for stub exits too, matching what the Lua API always allowed – and saving a room no longer silently clears a lock you set via scripting. Map audits keep these locks intact as well.
Improvements
- Better colour handling for room name labels on the map
Fixes
- Plain Copy right after Copy HTML now copies your selected text instead of leaving the earlier HTML on the clipboard
- Toolbars can no longer both get stuck hidden – “never show” is disabled for one toolbar while the other is set to “never” (fixes a 7-year-old issue!)
- Windows: enabling or disabling triggers, aliases and timers by name now affects every item with that name, not just some of them
- Fixed a potential crash when saving a profile with a broken stopwatch present
- The “Show room names” menu item is back in the mapper menu
- Default profiles copy correctly again after a fresh install
- Map labels can no longer be accidentally edited in view-only mode
- The script editor no longer has focus stolen from it when a toolbar is activated
Infrastructure
- The Windows installer is once again code-signed, so no more scary “unknown publisher” warnings – free code signing provided by SignPath.io
