mudlet.org and related websites is once again available! Big thanks to Zooka for pitching in and fixing it, and thank you to everyone else who offered to help as well – you know who you are.
The post-mortem is that bots from popular AI makers have been hammering the website for the last month. The website was handling it fine, until our own web analytics platform ran out of disk space due to the excessive number of logs that have been generated.
Things have been tidied up now and the server is up and running once again! At the same time, we have put restrictions in place to limit excessive usage of our resources.
